WA Quality Blasting & Painting provides mobile abrasive blasting and on-site protective spray painting across the Perth metropolitan area and regional Western Australia.
When valuable assets, structural steel, or industrial infrastructure cannot be cost-effectively transported to a workshop—or when project timelines require on-site plant maintenance—our mobile blasting and coating services deliver surface preparation directly to your location. We bring surface preparation and protective coating capabilities to construction sites, fabrication yards, marine facilities, and regional industrial operations across Western Australia.
When assets cannot be moved, our mobile blasting and painting services deploy directly to project locations. Surface preparation can be specified to AS 1627.4 Class Sa 2.5 (Near-White Metal) with protective coating systems applied before atmospheric moisture can affect the blasted profile.
For items suited to workshop processing, we operate from our facility at 32 Hope Valley Road in Naval Base WA 6165. This dual operational model gives commercial clients flexibility: deliver components to our Naval Base blasting bays, or engage our mobile crews for fixed infrastructure and on-site maintenance projects.
Compare cost trade-offs, site containment, WA environmental regulations, and weather constraints to decide between our Naval Base blast bays and mobile site rigs.
Surface preparation and recoating for installed structural steel beams, conveyor gantries, pipe bridges, storage tanks, and warehouse frameworks.
Deployment of mobile blasting and painting services for plant turnarounds and scheduled maintenance across Western Australia.
Internal lining removal and external atmospheric recoating for water tanks, chemical vessels, and clarifiers on client premises.
Integration between our Naval Base blasting workshop and mobile field capabilities, matching the most practical method to your project.
We evaluate access, environmental sensitivities, work zone requirements, and surface preparation needs before scheduling work.
Mobile equipment arrives on site. Crews set up required containment and safety perimeters to protect surrounding work zones.
Using compressed air and garnet media, surfaces are blasted to specified cleanliness and profile requirements.
Protective primers and topcoats are applied via spray equipment. Spent abrasive is collected and cleaned from the work zone.
Our mobile blasting and spray painting teams operate out of 32 Hope Valley Road, Naval Base WA 6165. We routinely service sites across Kwinana, Henderson AMC, Rockingham, Cockburn, Welshpool, Canning Vale, Fremantle, and the wider Perth metropolitan area. For industrial projects, our crews service regional locations throughout Western Australia.
Choose mobile on-site blasting when assets are fixed in place (such as erected structural buildings, storage tanks, conveyors, and pipe bridges), oversize, or when transport and craneage costs exceed the cost of mobilizing crews. If components are easily transportable, delivering them to our Naval Base workshop is generally faster and more cost-effective due to enclosed blast facilities.
Mobile blasting and coating may be available for assets that cannot practically be transported to the Naval Base workshop. Site access, power/utility availability, environmental containment, and mobilization requirements should be confirmed during project quoting to ensure appropriate equipment is deployed.
Managing dust and overspray depends on the site location and surroundings. On-site projects typically employ temporary screens, ground sheeting, or exclusion zones as needed. Silica-free abrasive media such as garnet is used to comply with health and environmental standards, and spent abrasive is cleared from work areas upon completion.
Mobile blasting services operate across the Greater Perth metropolitan area, including Naval Base, Kwinana, Henderson, Welshpool, Kewdale, and Canning Vale. Regional deployments across Western Australia can also be arranged by prior consultation.
To quote mobile works, please provide: (1) site location and access conditions, (2) photos or drawings of the assets, (3) square metre area or linear dimensions, (4) existing coating condition and substrate type, (5) required coating specification and safety inductions, and (6) preferred timeline or shutdown window.
